Public Discussion: Living Death Camp

Inside the former German Pavillion at the Old Fairground in Belgrade

(today a car facility owned by Rade Koncar company)

Collaboration between Goldsmiths Centre for Research Architecture from London with the project entitled Forensic Architecture, the Monument Group and the Four Faces of Omarska from Belgrade. 54. October Salon in Belgrade will include this event wentitled: Living Death Camp within their program. The participants and guests of this collaboration will be present.

Documentation generated by this collaboration will be shown as part of the 54. October Salon exhibition in Belgrade entitled No One Belongs Here More Than You Do. This endeavor asks questions about the limits of possibility for the construction of memorials and monuments today. It also will point to the urgency of the production of social sphere and knowledge at the locations that are marked by political urgency of memory. The exhibit will be on view November 11-17, 2013.
